Notes on the Weather : Cool to mild conditions, reminiscent of late August, will continue tomorrow through Southern and mountain districts. Conditions will become fine from the west as a high pressure ridge moves in from the West. This will move into the tasman sea on Tuesday and direct a warm northerly airflow over Victoria. Conditions will become much warmer on Tuesday as a result.
On Wednesday a weak cold front and associated low pressure trough will move across the state early in the day, with showers and isolated thunderstorms extending from the west with the change. Conditions will become much cooler following the front, and persist into Thursday. On friday, another ridge will move in and fine and mild conditions will develop again. The process will be a re run on the weekend with fine and very warm conditions developing in a warm Northerly airflow on Saturday, before another cooler change develops on Sunday in Western areas and moves East across the state.
Monday and Tuesday will also be warm to hot throughout the state, however conditions will become a little unsettled with an increase in humidity from the North East. A cooler change will develop from the west on Wednesday, and temperatures will be warm to hot ahead of the change and become cooler in its wake. A cooler SW wind flow will be established on Thursday over Victoria, with scattered showers becoming isolated from the west during the day. On Friday another high pressure ridge will move in from the bight and clear the showers into the tasman sea.
