Notes on the Weather :
A large scale system is now developing, initially very warm to hot conditions will develop across the state on Thursday, and the airmass will become more humid. As a result showers and scattered thunderstorms will develop across most western areas of the state. On Friday the pattern will be slow moving so unsettled conditions with rain and thunderstorms will continue, with a late change entering the SW of the state at night. Local heavy falls will be possible in this period along the ranges.
On Saturday, early showers will clear ahead of a weak front later in the day with cooler conditions and isolated showers moving in from the west, and will clear from the west of the state on Sunday. Another ridge will move in on Monday clearing the state of showers and fine and warm weather will return.
