Notes on the Weather :
A low pressure trough is laying across Victoria. An extremely humid airmass is also laying across the state. As a result showers and scattered thunderstorms are developing across most areas of the state. The trough is very slow moving so rain and embedded thunderstorms will persist through Saturda and then clear from the west.
A series of weak fronts will move through Victoria during the first half of the week, bringing cool conditions with isolated showers. On Tuesday a stronger front will move up from the SW and cold and showery conditions will become established across most of Southern and Eastern Victoria.A ridge of high pressure will move in on Thursday and move eastwards into the Tasman Sea on Friday, with temperatures slowly increasing. Another low pressure trough and moisture infeed will develop on Saturday from the west, with very warm and humid conditions bringing rain and thunderstorms.
