A cold front is laying across Victoria, with a low pressure trough through NSW. A monsoon low has developed off the NW coast of Australia, and may form into a tropical cyclone in the next week.
Friday will become cooler again but conditions will clear up quickly, and gradually warm over the weekend before some hot weather develops New Years Eve, and increases on New Years Day. Hot conditions will continue for the remainder of the week, with a very stationary pattern developing for a few days into next weekend.
