Monday : Mild to warm and partly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms later, tending to rain at times overnight. Moderate SE winds easing later and becoming variable. Rainfall  4 – 8 mm

Tuesday : A few showers and the risk of thunderstorm, tending to rain at times in the NE. Light SE winds tending E in the afternoon with afternoon bayside seabreezes.  Rainfall 3 – 7 mm.

Thursday : Very warm to hot, cloud increasing and becoming humid, showers developing later, with isolated thunderstorms. Moderate N/NE wind, fresh in the morning.  Rainfall 2 -5 mm

Friday :  Warm and unsettled with rain at times and isolated thunderstorms. Light winds tending NE, ahead of a cooler change late in the day.  Rainfall 15 – 25 mm

Notes on the Weather : On Sunday it will be very warm throughout, and a weak low pressure trough will develop from the west with isolated thundery showers, lingering into Monday through all areas bar the far SW of the state. Conditions will become cooler on Monday as the trough moves east and  a cooler SW wind flow becomes established. Another high pressure ridge will move in on Monday and conditions will become fine and sunny from the west. Conditions will warm up on Tuesday and then more on Wednesday, however humidity will again increase ahead of a period of very unsettled weather.

A large scale system will develop towards the end of the week, initially very warm to hot conditions will develop across the state on Wednesday, and by Thursday the airmass will become more humid. As a result showers and scattered thunderstorms will develop across most western areas of the state. On Friday the pattern will be slow moving so unsettled conditions with rain and thunderstorms will continue, with a late change entering the SW of the state at night. Local heavy falls will be possible in this period along the ranges.
